Seeking information about Elizabeth Grimes, born c1875. She was the daughter of William Grimes, a maltser. She married my grandfather Frederick John Hollins in Manchester in 1897 and had a daughter with him. She died in 1900 from TB. I think she may have been Irish and have found a baptismal record for an Elizabeth Grimes, daughter of William Grimes and Elizabeth Flanagan, for 17/10/1875, Skerries Co. Dublin. Sponsors were Francis Derham and Maria Agnes McNally. Does anyone have any information about this family? |

Shanley-O'Hara
Looking for ancestors of Elizabeth O'Hara married to Joseph Patrick Shanley in the "hills" of Skerries in the late 1930's or early 1940's. First four children were born in Ireland before the emmigrated to England around 1948. Mary, Christopher, Joseph & Rose.
Betty's mother was Mary (Ryan) O'Hara. Had siblings but one brother named Matthew everyone called Matty.
Joe had sisters, one named Molly who lived and died in Ireland.

Am trying to trace Grace DENNISON probably born approx 1890 (this is a very vague estimate!) & came from Dromore West, Co. Sligo. She married Joseph ACTON (Came from Skerries,Co. Dublin) & had 2 children Herbert ffolliatt Acton (b.1914, Dublin) & Constance ("Connie") Acton. Any info at all would be very helpful. |
