Pullen Ringsend Dublin
Hi I', trying to research my husbands family tree. His father Tom Pullen born 1920 was born in Ringsend son of John and Catherine (Nee Murphy) Pullen of 105 Ringsend Park Road. I think John Pullen's father was also John. I believe the family originally came from England and have been told that one of the ancestors was the first to sail a sailing ship up the Liffey. Any information anyone has would be most appreciated |

clarke,swaine ringsend and irishtown
hiya, doing research on the clarke, swaine familys in the area mentioned. earliest finds i have are a 1901 census entry for clarke living at 14 shamrock ave ringsend, james clarke b 1841 married to julia b 1842 sons and daughters were joseph, patrick, james, annie, julia, and john. James and his sons were fishermen.patrick was my grandfather and he married jane swaine my grandmother.I believe She came from folkstone in kent. they lived in pidgeon house rd ,anyone with any info? i can supply more info if any interest
