I am keen to trace the above person who is a grandson of William Wain - formerly a pupil at Lichfield Grammar School, and eventually a teacher at Middlesbrough High School (following attendance at Birmingham University and service with the 12th Teesside Pioneers). My great Uncle Jack and Aunt Molley lived at 3 Shortlands Gardens, Bromley Kent England. I believe they had a son, possibly named Jack or John also. Jack/John senior's sister was Violet Smith (my grandmother)born in 1897 in England, and moved to Chatham, Kent Ontario, Canada. Her mother's maiden name was Crew or Crewe. Her father's name was Fredrick I think. He may have been a photographer. My great Uncle Jack may have died in or about 1978. Any information about relatives would be appreciated. Thank you.

Grandfather of Douglas James MERCER died 1962, Great Grandfather of Christopher James MERCER (still living).
