red mail Cookman - Bodenham
My Great Grandfather and his siblings were all born in Bodenham between 1840 and 1852. On the 1881 census my Great Great Grandmother (widow) was village post mistress and her daughter Sarah Vincent (also widowed) lived with her, but no sign of Sarah(aged 33) having had any children with her? The next household on the census listed lots of Vincent's, so assume her late husband was related to the people next door. Also I do not seem to be able to find any written history of Bodenham on the Internet, can anyone help??
