I am researching the Mihells who lived in Bishopstone by Salisbury from 1500s to 1800s and married into the families Phillips,Ward,Harwood, Maslen, Baish, TuckerKellow, Batt, Parrett, Butt, Whatley, Porton, Goodfellow, Stevens, Saunders, Snooke, Horder There were never very many of them and their name is spelt variably in church records.The earliest Mihells were stonemasons. Very interested to know what their spouses families did for a living.

Hello, Im researching the name of Phillips. Ambrose Phillips was baptised 1754 son of Mathew and Mary Phillips at Bishopstone South. Ambrose moved to Egham and married Mary Thorne at Old Windsor Berkshire 1780. They had several children. A son Joseph married a Jane Godfrey at Thorpe Staines Middlesex in 1818. Son Joseph born 1821 married Susannah Lydia Sharpe 1842 Knightsbridge. Joseph was in the army. Anyone doing any of these family trees I would be pleased to hear from you. Rita
