Bean burials
(Jul 10
Red)
Thomas Bean was buried on 20 January, 1850 in Bexhill. I would love to know any information that is on the registry on gravestone. Digital photo's also gratefully received!
I do not know when his wife Rosamund (aka Rose...) died. I'm guessing that is was before 1838. She'd likely be buried with her husband. Can you help me find out? I do not know her birth year or anything and would be delighted to find out any information at all.
Thank-you for any help you can give.

I'm looking for any information that might be on that entry -witnesses, occupations, father's names ...also ages ...I do not know anything about Rosamund apart from name and marriage date.
Hoping for some help on this mystery couple.

Gander Family of Bexhill
(May 09
Green)
I am interested in the Gander family at Bexhill, particularly descendants of Walter Gander (1823-1865) and his wife Emma Smith. Their surviving children were Anna Maria (b 1845), George Thomas (b 1847), Louis Henry (b 1849), Peter Newman (b 1851),and Walter (b 1860). Peter Gander had a carriers business in Bexhill (at Belle Hill and later at Station Road) until early 1900. Anna Maria and Louis Henry emigrated to USA. |
