I am looking for information relating to my Gr. Gr. Grandfather John Niddrie and family members. He married Jane Garthwaite Niddrie on 26 Jul 1819 at St Mary Magdalen, Parish of Bermondsey, Surrey. According to some records he was a Farmer at Warlingham; a grocer and a dealer of coffee when in London. He resided in Bath St (Soho?). He migrated to Australia. When and on what Ship is unknown. Wife Jane does not appear to have journeyed to Australia with John. Child Robert Garthwaite Niddrie possibly born to John and a Jane Ramsay prior to their departure to Australia. Any information would be appreciated.

red mail George Smith (Jul 10 Red)
Does anyone know anything about George Smith's ancestry? I know it's a bit of a long shot because of the Smith surname, but my ancestor was George Smith the shoemaker, living in Bethnal Green and he was born around 1817. He had a wife Elizabeth and a daughter called Elizabeth Margaret Smith. I am unable to trace further back than this. Very grateful to anyone who can help me!
