Euphemia Rutherford (175199)
I am hoping to learn more about my GG Grandmother Euphemia Rutherford possibly born in Musselburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland. She must have emigrated to Australia as she married Peter Oag in 1862 (alt 1852) in Redfern in Sydney. They had 6 children - Isabella (1863-), William (1865-),Margaret (1868-), John Sutherland Oag (14/10/1870- 8/6/56 my G Grandfather), Elizabeth (1873-) and Euphemia (1876-).
Adam Colquhoun (122439)
I am searching for my great grandfather's COLQUHOUN family, who lived in Mussleburgh. I have found them in the Scottish Census of 1861 His name was Adam, then aged 12. His parents names were John and Catherine. He had three younger brothers, John, James and George and a sister called Catherine. Adam apparently went to India as a young man in about 1870's. My grandfather and his brother were born in India in 1878 and 1880. I have no information on how Adam got to India, nor do I know if he returned to Scotland, as I cannot find a record of his death. I wish to hear from anyone who has information on Adam or his siblings, please
