Edward or Walmsley (117491)
Trying to locate father of Walmsley Cucknell who was Edward or Edmund according to US immigration records. He came over to US Dec. 1850 with wife and three children Anne, William and Walmsley. They lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They were naturalized in 1857. By 1860 census he was either dead or dessert family and went back to England. No death certificate can be found in Philadelphia or Pennsylvania for him. Walmsley Cucknell was my Great-grand-father. He died Jan 16,1919 in Phila., Pa. at the Odd Fellows Home. I have several family photos to share if I can connect with family members.

I am looking for any details of a William Slater who married Alice Taylor 17 April 1808 St Micheal Ashton Under Lyne. His son John(9 April 1811)a convict is my G G grandfather.John was first married to a Betty Matley in Lancashire(22 June 1834) and they had a daughter Alice (1834). Mary had 2 siblings that are known: Margaret and James. The parents of Josephare Benjamin and Betty Gardiner. The spelling of the last name may be Gardner or Gardener. I am looking for any info on these ancestors who I know relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) between 1853 and 1858.
