Looking for information on Hugh Collins (b1855) who married Isabella Fisher (b1859) in 1878, in Liverpool, Lancashire. Child Mary Ann Collins born Dec. 1882 baptized ALL SOULS CATHOLIC Church 18 Jun 1896. Appears with parents in 1891 Liverpool Lancashire census, but gone for 1901. Story goes that she went away to school (Ireland or Scotland where mother's friend was nun) and returned home when her mother died (May 1904) and took care of siblings (then on to America). Where did she go? Cannot find her in any 1901 census, but see possibilities, listed as housekeeper/domestic servant. Any information appreciated.
Edward Anderson Wilson
Looking for information on Edward Anderson WILSON, born 1837-41, possibly in or near Manchester; died 1900 in Sydney, Australia. He was the son of James WILSON and Katherine ANDERSON. He migrated (or was perhaps transported) to Australia before 1874. He had a wife who remained in the UK and may have died in the 1880s, because he remarried in 1886. There may have been children from his first marriage. In Australia he was employed as a journalist (sports and turf writer), and this may have been his profession in the UK.
red mail living relative
I am hoping to find a living relative from Liverpool. His parents' surnames were RAFFERTY and CROPPER and his first names were Craig Anthony born 1974. The parents were divorced soon after the baby was born and it is possible that his surname was changed. If anyone can help please contact me and I can disclose further information. Regards
