COOPER CHILTON (Oct 05 Red)
Does anyone have any info on Amelia Jane Chilton, born around 1824 ? On her marriage to John Chivers in October 1857 she described herself as a widow and gave her father's name as Cooper. Census returns give her birthplace as Buckinghamshire or Winchmore Hill and I assumed it was Middlesex, not realising this was also a place name in Buckinhgamshire. She married in Bethnal Green in 1857 and spent the rest of her life in east London where she died in September 1890. So far nothing has come to light in relation to her birth or first marriage which is assumed to be around 1840 - 1850 and any help would be greatly appreciated.
