red mail Gibbons Family, Bray Berkshire (Mar 09 Red)
I am searching for information on my great great grandfather Richard Gibbons, retired brewer from St Peters Street, Great Marlow Bucks, and his wife Ann, and their daughters Ellen M . and Emily L. Richard and his daughters were born in Great Marlow, Ann was born in Berkshire. Richard Gibbons & Ann Bennett were married at St Peters Church, Wallington, Berks in 1816. The marriage was witnessed by Benjamin Bennett, Lucy Bennett and Mary Maria Dodds. Richard's son Edward F. carried on the with the brewery until his death in 1862, then his son Charles E ran it until it was sold and the malthouse converted into a chair factory. Ann died sometime before 1861, Richard died 13 April 1869 White Waltham, age 78. Emily M and Emily L both died in 1906.I am hopeful someone may know of this family, and I am willing to exchange information.
