Boarding House Holcroft on Edgeley Road
On the 1911 census this seems to be owned by A&M Hughes, there are a number of seemingly unconnected boarders (Latter, Sayce, Hall, Lush, Tudor, Starkey, Wilson) and household staff. I am interested in Dorothy Overbury (17) living there with her mother Clare/Clara. I have plenty of information about these ladies before and after 1911, am interested only in their time at Whitchurch

red mail Stockton & Austin Families
I am researching my ancestor John Stockton who married Ann Austin in Whitchurch in 1844.They had at least 9 children between 1844 and 1860 and lived at St John's Street. Of the children the only ones that I have traced have been William who was born and died in 1852, Henry who was born in 1853 and died in 1875 and Charles Austin who was born in 1858 and died in 1860. The only other son I have any record of is John who was born in 1850 but I have no further details about him. The daughters have been very hard to trace - I can find no marriage records for any of them so I don't know what their surnames were if any or all of them were married. The names of the girls were Jane born 1844, Ann born 1846, Harriet born 1848, Mary born 1858 and Emma born 1860. I would be very grateful if anyone can give me any details of any of these individuals and also any information on the Austin family who also came from Whitchurch.
