red mail George William Short (Feb 09 Red)
Could anyone help me please with information on my great grandad who was born in Westoning in 1883, his name is George William Short his mum is Elizabeth Short wich I beleive is her maiden name. After searching the sensus of 1891 and 1901 I am unable to find his where he lived. I am guesing that he could have been born out of wedlock which would have meant he would have left his mother to be looked after elsewhere. I have George,s birth cirtificate but unfortunatly his dad is not listed. George went to reside in Hucknall Nottingham and got married in 1903 in Hucknall. Please could anyone help me try and solve this mystery. Many thanks. Ian
