I am related to the Higgs family from Wendover, Buckinghamshire then from Tring, Hertfordshire. My G, G,G,G,G,G, Grandfather was Thomas, his son John, his son, William and his son Henry. William and Henry came to Australia in 1857. John Higgs married Ann Paterson and William Higgs married Maria Collings in England. Is anyone anble to assist me me please ?

She was a Lacemaker and mother of Mary (b 1832), George (b 1834), Thomas (1835), Susannah (1837, Eliza (b 1838) and Charlotte (b 1840). Believe she may have been married to Thomas Wooster born 1801 and died 1840.

Charles Thomas Long/Ann Eldridge (Nov 08 Red)
I am seeking any information regarding Charles Thomas LONG (1879) and/or Ann ELDRIDGE (1880). Ann ELDRIDGE is believed to have been born in Wendover or Alysbury. After marrying Charles Thomas LONG, they emmigrated to Cape Town South Africa. Ann named her homestead in Cape Town "Goring Lea". We have been told this was to remind her of home. If anyone can help us find more information about Ann Eldridge, we would certainly appreciate it.
