Spickett family
(Nov 09
Red)
Little Brickhill
I am trying to find out the siblings of John Spickett 1816 Little Brickhill and his parents if possible.
I have a William Spickett born 1840 Croydon -son of John and there also appears to be another William Spickett but he is born Little Brickhill -I am wondering if another son or a sibling of his fathers. I have also seen a record of a William Spickett born c1794 married to Ruth. Can anyone help me tidy this puzzle up please.

HIGGS FAMILY
(May 09
Green)
Loughton
My family have been in Loughton since the early 1800's starting with Richard HIGGS and Elizabeth MAJOR. Their son William was my gt. gt. grandfather. My father lived in Bradwell Rd., Loughton with his family and then with my mother Kathleen (nee DOE) and then after her death in 1960 with my grandmother also in Bradwell Rd. I went to the little village school in Shenley Church End which is now a private nursery I believe but my father and many of my relatives attended it before me. There is now a Higgs Close in Loughton which is a great honour! I would love to hear from anyone from the village especially with family connections.

Mark Charters
(Mar 09
Red)
Little Brickhill
Mark Charters (b. 1782 in Little Brickhill) married Phoebe Darling (b 1777 in Woburn) in Woburn in 1804. They had at least three children who were baptised at Woburn, but I can find no further information about the family who I suspect moved into the London area later. I can find no deaths after 1837 anywhere, and no deaths before 1837 in Bedfordshire. Can anyone help?

I believe James' father was Edmund Sheffield born about 1801. According to the 1841 census, Edmund was a widdower at that time. Edmund's occupation was a carpenter.
Edmund Sheffield also had children: George 1826, Edmund 1827 & Elizabeth 1833.
I would be very greatful for any help concerning this family.
