Have marriage cert for Mary Brimelow (age 24 spinster) to William Hudson (age 22 batchelor) on 31 July 1853 @ Salem Chapel Golborne St. Her father is given as Thomas Higginson (deceased) stone mason. William (full age widower)married again in 1862 toLucy Robinson (full age spinster).
I am looking for info on Mary and suggestions as to the reason for diff surname from father.
Does anybody have access to W'ton death records or 1841 & 1851 censuses.
