John Dolan and Ellen Flaherty
I am researching information on JOHN DOLAN (born between 1836 and 1852) and ELLEN FLAHERTY (born between (1841 and 1850).
John was a farm labourer. John and Ellen were born in Galway Ireland. By 1867 they have moved to Warrington, Lancashire. I believe they got married before their first child. The children were, Mary (1867), Margaret (1869) Michael (1871), Stephen (1874) Patrick (1875, Catherine (1876), Ellen (1879), john (1880) and James (1882).
John died in Warrington in 1914 and Ellen died in 1907.

John Farrell and Catherine Doyle
I am researching JOHN FARRELL and CATHERINE DOYLE.
Their son James was baptised in Abbeyknockmoy, Galway, Ireland in 1871. I believe there is also a son called John Joseph.
John died before his son James got married in Warrington, Lancashire, (1895).
There is no evidence of John Farrell (father) coming to England. I think Catherine, and son John came but the only current evidence I have is Jamess marriage. Catherine died in (1911) in Warrington.

I need to find a Thomas BATE born circa 1851/2 at Warrington with a father Thomas who was an Ironworker.
I have been searching for a very long time and this birth has eluded me.... WHERE WAS HE ON THE 1861 CENSUS ?? Can you help ?? |
SIMKIN FAMILY/WARRINGTON
I am looking for info on the family of my great grandfather Richard Simkin born 1847 in Warrington. His parents were Peter Simkin and Mary Lingard. On Richard's Marriage Certificate he gave his father Peter's occupation as Sawyer. Richard came to Australia sometime before 1887 when he married my great grandmother Emma Brooks in Melbourne. Charles was a bleacher /Dyer. He remarried Mary Ann ?in the early 1830's . she was born Henllys,Lancs.
Children Mary Ann 1836 Warrington.Emma Elizabeth 1840 Manchester,Charles Peel 1842,William Arthur 1844,Lucy 1845,Joseph Hopkinson 1846
Charles died before 1861. Mary Ann ws a lodging house keeper.
