Looking for parental information on Edmond William Deeley (aka William Edmond), born March, 1811 in Wallingford, Berkshire. We have been unsuccessful in obtaining information on the Deeley family prior to 1811. Greatly appreciate any assistance.

Sellwood family, Wallingford (Aug 08 Red)
Does anyone have any information about the Sellwoods? All I know so far is that there were at least 2 sons who were in the police force; Percy, who married Lilian Stallard in the early 1920s, and died fairly soon afterwards having been gassed in World War 1, and his older brother Albert who rose in the police ranks and married Muriel Appleyard (b 1923), probably in the 1940s, and had a son Ross who now lives in New Zealand. Any further info or background welcome.

Chamberlain family, Wallingford butchers (Mar 08 Green)
Looking for details of my Chamberlain ancestors who were farmers and butchers in Wallingford, particularly Edgar Clarence (Eddie) b 1894 and his brother Hubert Lawrence (Lawrie), who apparently ran a butcher's shop in the town. They were sons of Thomas Allen Chamberlain (b1859) and Ellen Pryor, and grandsons of Sampson Chamberlain (b1835) and Mary Ann Allen (b1826). Any info/photos on the butcher's shop would be welcome.

Cope family Wallingford to USA? (Nov 06 Red)
I am looking for information on a Cope family from Wallingford, Berkshire. My ancestor John Cope was born in England in 1810, traveled to the U.S. about 1830 and settled in Keokuk, Iowa. I believe he may have been the son of John Cope and Lucy of Walllingford who had another son named Robert. My John Cope had a nephew named Robert John who also emigrated, settled in Keokuk, married John's daughter Margaret, and ended up in Los Angeles.
