GEORGE COOPER born c1789 married Sarah CORDERY born c1794. She had a brother JOHN who was a bricklayer, and one of her children, THOMAS, who was killed in WW1, was also a bricklayer. His elder brother CHARLES born c 1876 emigrated to South Africa after fighting in the Boer War. Would like to try to trace the family back further.

James Tilbury m Elizabeth Wheatley in 1867 in Wokingham and from there George Tilbury marries Florance Emma Marks ,Daughter of Arthur marks and Emma Jane Wheeler.Emma Jane Wheeler is the Daughter of christopher Marks a hawker in berkshire and surrounding counties. It would seem that they lived in tents and travelled around? George Tilbury marries Florance Emma Marks and Cecil James Tilbury is born in 1911 he marries Vera May Greaves in berkshire in 1933.Peter Tilbury Marries Ann Wheaton daughter of George William Wheaton and Marguerite Smith. George william Wheaton was born in berkshire in 1916 we do not know his ancestry. Marguerite Smith was the daughter of John smith and Elizabeth Mary Sheeran. Both sides of these families are beleved to have originated from belfast. one side being catholic.We know that John Smith joined the canadian expeditionary soldiers and that elizabeth was there with him and came home with a couple of children on her own . They also had a son who we think was adopted out in Canada? possibly? any info mation greatly received to the above families.
