Dimmock/Headey (Sep 09 Red)
Looking for any information on Sarah Dimmock (Born c1822 Stewkley, Bucks) and her spouse George Headey (Born c1821 Wing, Bucks). They had 5 children that I have found including Joseph James Headey who is a dircect ancestor but my search has stalled with these two so any info on parentage etc would be greatly appreciated.

BATES, TURNEY (Apr 09 Green)
I am looking for any information that can add to the knowledge of this tree. My g-grandfather, William John Barnes BATES b.1846 Stewkley married Ann Readman TURNEY at Bedford in 1868. I believe they had at least 7 children as follows: James J BATES b1872(TBC) , Fanny BATES b.1873, Albert BATES b. 1875, Jane BATES b. 1876, Philip BATES b. 1877, Ethel BATES b. 1882 , Edith BATES b. 1884 (all born at Stewkley as far as I know). The family farmed 96 acres at South End in Stewkley. Prior to 1891, the family shifted to 308 Wolverhampton Rd, Walsall. In 1911 they are living at 291 Willenhall Rd, Wolverhampton. There must be descendants of this BATES line living in the Walsall area. Of the children, Albert BATES married Emily Ann STACKHOUSE 1894 Walsall, Jane BATES (my line) married Simon Henry LYON(S) 1895 Walsall, came to NZ 1904 , had 5 children, Philip BATES married Bertha Selina BLACKHAM 1900, they had 3 known children in Walsall, Clarice Bertha BATES b. 1901, Sydney Philip BATES b. 1902, Marjorie Ethel BATES b 1903 and the family went to Queens, New York, 1907 All information and contacts welcome, John

William Hedges (Oct 05 Red)
Looking for info on William Hedges or any Hedges that had a daughter named Dorothy who came to Canada apparently after the death of her father. The family was apparently wealthy and lost everything when the father died. A silver Ice water pitcher still in the family seems to at least confirm the wealth of the family at one time. Dorothy had a brother named Royal Alexander b. in 1902 in England. Some of the family may have remained in England. Dorothy m. Walter Bispham in Canada.
