red mail Oliver & Cook & Lee (Revised Jun 07 Red)
Hi, I'm looking for more information about my 5G Grandparents, Thomas Oliver (a Farmer of Flitwick) who was buried at Steppingly on 1st Feb 1805, aged 82, with his first wife Sarah (d. Aug 1762) daughter of Thomas & Mary Cook. Their headstone still stands but is largely unreadable. They had 4 children Sarah, William, James and Thomas. By 1799, Thomas farmed at Warren Farm, Flitwick, and had married Martha Lee in 1764, at Flitwick. They had two more children, Ann and Elizabeth. Thanks Robert

red mail Button/Foulks, Steppingley (Sep 06 Red)
Keen to find parents of Mary Foulks who married Richard Button, a wheelwright, in Steppingley 18.9.1797. They had 2 children John & Mary there, later moved to Shillington, Stevenage and Great Catworth, where she died in 1844.

red mail MARDLING and SCOTT (Revised Apr 06 Red)
Looking for details on the ancestors of THOMAS SCOTT MARDLING/ MARDLIN, born in STEPPINGLEY in about 1779. His mother is shown as MARY MARDLIN on the IGI entry, but I am looking for his father. Thomas Scott M. was illegitimate and his father was ???? Scott. Does anyone have any information on Scotts from Steppingley? Also looking for birth of Mary Mardlin(g) his mother. I can't find her birth in Steppingley, does anyone know any other area Mardlings came from?
