STRONG, Stanford in the Vale (Sep 09 Green)
I should appreciate any information about the Strong family prior to James Strong, born at Stanford 9/4/1851, who was a platelayer with GWR and married to Maria Dimmick. Their daughter was Lilian Jane Strong, born at Stanford 18/7/1883, died 1925.

STRONG Stanford (Feb 09 Green)
We are looking for a recorded birth of Justus Corderoy or Strong about 1833. He was the illegitimate son of Joseph Corderoy, miller of Blewbury, and possibly the child of a STRONG. Martha STRONG was Joseph's housekeeper for many years, and she came from Stanford,born about 1788, but her age is such that if she had a daughter, then the daughter is the more likely mother. She is recorded as of Stanford, so we need to check for a birth there about 1778. If her daughter was Justus Strong's mother then the daughter would have been born from 1800 onwards. Justus was recorded in the Parish records as STRONG, but census returns and the later family as CORDEROY. Ideas?

puzey, Pusey, Church (Feb 09 Green)
Several Puzeys and Churches moved from Berkshire to London and, in the 1840s and 1850s, to Vermilion County Illinois. They were centered around West Challow and Stanford in the Vale. As far as I can tell these Puzeys were not part of the family that owned Pusey House. I have the Puzey genealogy fairly set with only a few questions, but I'm baffled at who Henry Church is. He married Sophia Puzey in 1832 in London. He appears to be related to several London-born Churches such as Adolphus Bellingham Church and George William Frederick Church, who also emigrated around the same time. Any help?

Am looking for ancestors and descendants of LAMBOURNE'S many of whom were originally from Stanford in the Vale, Berkshire, England. My genaration and that of my grandparents ended up in the Maidenhead area. Would love to hear from any Lambourne's from the Hitcham-Burnham district of Buckinghamshire or Maidenhead. Charles Lambourne and Rhoda(King) were my great great grandparents. My great grandfather was their son James born 1872 married to Alice Wootten and my grandfather was their son George William born 1902 who married Dorothy Dobson. They settled in Maidenhead where my family are now. Look forward to hearing from anyone connected to me of who thinks they might be!

Looking for info on John Baker b around 1770's Possibly Stanford on the Vale. M arried a Diana ? b 1773- 1837. Tryiong to find her surname,marraige date. Parents Of both. There children were Richard b 1804 Rachel b 1805, William 1807 and Issac b 1810. m Elizabeth Keen 1835.I have the descendents of this line, and a partial line for Richard. All info welcomed

TITCHENER (May 05 Red)
I am looking for the parents of Robert Titchener, bn abt 1822 in S in V. Robert m Mary May in 1843 and they had 7 children, including one called Obadiah. Their daughter Hannah also had a son Obadiah, so this looks like a family name. How/Is Robert connected to Obadiah Titchener bn abt 1813 in Compton Beachamp? Cousins or brothers? This Obadiah m Hannah Hayward in 1834 and they had 8 children but I cannot yet link this family to that of Robert. Any help with this much appreciated. Thanks.

John Blackwell and Fanny lived in Stanford in the vale pre 1890 and had four sons John,Herbert,William and Leslie. John died in 1890 and Fanny married Fredrick Treadwell they as far as we know had one son called fredrick. We are looking for information regarding Fanny who we think kept the bakery at stanford or any of her sons.

Lambourne/keen (8/02-10/03 Red)
My ancestor Charlotte Lambourne married Henry or George Keen Stanford in the Vale Berks 1848. Their daughter Sophia married Thomas Goddard 1874 and one of the witnesses, Loveden Lambourne was my G G Uncle.... son of Charles and Rhoda (nee King)Lambourne..... would love to hear from anyone with connections to these families.....
