MINES family (Nov 07 Red)
I am looking for any info or descendants on the MINES family. My 4 x gt g'father was a John Mines, born 'Berkshire' per 1841 census when family living Remenham. My 3 x gt g'mother was the daughter of John and his wife Mary. Her name was Eliza MINES born ca 1819 and married to Charles REED or READ in the Parish Church, Remenham in 1842. John and Mary's other children per 1841 census were James (c.1824) and Susanah (c.1825). Eliza and Charles REED (or READ) moved to Reading, where my 2xgt g'mother Caroline REEAD or READ was born around 1849. I can't seem to find John Mines or James and Susanah on later census records, though a Susan Mines married in Reading in 1846 so could be same person. Are there any MINES family still in the area?
