Does anyone know the whereabouts of Cynthia Otten or her brother Colin Otten? I met them at their home in Reading about 1955. They were about my age, born in the mid-1930s, the children of Leslie Otten - a grocer. Their step-Mother was Gladys Hopper, born Eastry, Kent, 1908. I believe Cynthia married.

Hi, I am looking for anyone related to the Fennell and/or Jewell families.They lived in Cambridge St, Great Knollys St, Mason Road,Weldale St, Bear Court, Friar St, Castle St. My grandmother Mabel was born at Peach Court,Castle St. Her father was Herbert E A Fennell - known as Albert, and her mother was Edith Fanny Jewell. Her grandfather was Robert and her grandmother was Mary, she and her siblings lived with their grandparents in 1911.

I am looking for relatives of Captain Alexander David Mackintosh and his wife Eva. She was from the Caversham, Reading area. Alexander was the son of David and Christina Mackintosh of Inverness. Alexander was an officer in the Royal Corps of Signals and was killed at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on the 22nd July 1946. I would like to contact any surviving relative. Thanks, Phil.

I have traced the family to Stroud but wonder if there is anyone who can throw some light as to why his middle name was Brockman. I have been in touch with the Drake Brockman's but no help so far. green mail THE DEARLOVE AND SMITH FAMILIES (Mar 09 Green)
I am looking for anyone who has knowledge of the family Dearlove who resided in Bedford St and Lavender St (Place) around 1865/75. My GG Grandfather was George Dearlove (B:1822 in Hants) and was a soldier in the 13th Light Dragoons in the Crimea and one of the 'Charge of the Light Brigade' who survived. He had many medals including French Military Medal and is mentioned/photographed at that time. His daughter Isabella Matilda married Benjamin Smith and they were my G Grandparents. Their son William Claydon Smith a Painter and Decorator of Amity Road had a Grandfather of same name who was a furniture remover and had worked for Queen Victoria. All from Reading. I, my Mother, Grandmother and Uncle went to George Palmer School and lived in Surrey Road until 1951.

Thomas Watkins (whatkins) bn Reading abt 1712. married Mary Kessell chr 22 Nov 1720 St Mary's Reading.Does anybody have any knowledge when \ where they were married ?? I know their son Thomas Watkins (Kessell) chr 1 Jan 1745 St Mary's Reading , married Ann May Of Wokingham , on 13 Jan 1770 at Wokingham. I would very much like to find out as much as possible as I am descended from them. Thanks for any info forthcoming.
