Has anyone got any info on the surname HENSHAW of Quainton, Bucks? My 6th gt grandmother was Mary HENSHAW bc 1680. I have no details of her parents or any siblings. Mary married Henry GURDEN b 1677 of Ludgershall, Bucks.They married in Aylesbury in 1706.

I have been researching this family and came across a reference that the Plaisted Family (part of) lived in Quainton from the 14th - 17th century and then made there way to London. My husbands line of Plaisteds start in 1777 in Shoreditch London and i an trying to now track further backwards. JOhn Plaisted was born in about 1740 don't know where..his son Thomas b. 1777 in Shoreditch London. If anyone has any info on the Plaisted family or could give me a direction then please let me know.
