Cyril Hubert Morgon RN
Going through some old photos belonging to my grandmother, we've found a picture of a young man in Royal Navy uniform. On the back is written "This is my boy" (not in my grandmother's handwriting) and then "J1991". J1991 is the service number of Cyril Hubert Morgon born Portsea in 1892 who enlisted as a Boy in 1912 and left the navy, I think, in 1928 with the rank of CPO. Is anyone interested in this man and wants a copy of the photo? Does anyone know of a connection with the area around Malvern in Worcestershire or the surnames Pratt or Howells?
