I was hoping to help a friend. but I can't find who I'm looking for. parents never married. the only info is that Stanley wallace was older than his partner at the time, she was born 1919. that he lived with his mother in Plymouth. and he was in the royal navy. stanley roy wallace as been found, but he turned out not the Stanley we've been looking for. it's a bit of a long shot. but can only one help. best wihes. lyn

I am looking for the parents of Ann Langford Young born Plymouth 1799.She married Willian Mcleod Bannatyne at St Michaels,Bristol in 1817 and died in 1871. Their marriage notice in the Edinburgh Monthly magazine states "William McLeod Bannatyne Esq of Bath, third son of the late General Bannatyne, to Miss Young, only child of Captain Young. I know that General Bannatyne is Major-General James Bannatyne (died 1806) of the East India Company but I have no information on Captain Young. Any info gratefully received!

I would be interested to hear from anyone who is connected with the Percy family. Upsher married my step aunt Janet Murray in about 1949. I don't know where they wed but they lived in Plymouth. I know the Murray family moved around alot living in Devon, Scotland and Kent.

I am looking for any information that could lead to finding John Nicholas Bennett (Jackie Bennett), or his children. I believe he is from the Plymouth area, that he was in the Merchant Navy at some point, and was a long distance lorry driver. He may have stayed in the Edinburgh area for a couple of years, possibly between 1966/70. I believe he will be about 77 years old. If anyone has any information do please contact me.
