William SIMKINS bap. 1806 in Pirton, son of Samuel and Elizabeth. WIlliam moved to London and married Jannet LONSDALE in 1827. William had a brother David. Looking for any information on Samuel and Elizabeth or their forebears. I'm a direct descendent of William.

I am looking for information on Dawsons in Pirton. In particular the family and descendants of Richard Dawson who married Ann Shepperd in about 1795

Goldsmiths & Carters (8/02-10/03 Red)
Am looking for GGGG grandparents, GGG grandparents were Daniel (b.1818)and Eliza Goldsmith (1822) but cant get back any further although I have found loads of Goldsmiths in the 17th & 16th centuries, but no links. As far as I know, they originated in Hitchin. Also looking for parents of John (1833) and Caroline (1832) Carter, John was born in Hexton, but resided in Pirton by the time of the 1851 census, but had moved back to Hexton by 1881, and I assume he died there. Any information would be gratefully received.
