Margaret Pickering
(Feb 08
Red)
Hi, trying to bottom out a family story. My mother was told by her mother etc that she was named Margaret after Margaret Pickering daughter of ------ Pickering Bart. from Pickering. Margaret was said to have run off with a footman and been cut off by the family (real Mills & Boon stuff this) No idea of date other than probably no later than 1810 similarly no idea of surnames. Thanks Pete
