red mail Mehew's of Kimbolton (May 09 Red) Kimbolton
The Mehew family have a long association with Kimbolton but I can find no entry in any parish register for Kimbolton or surrounding area for WILLIAM MEHEW born c1790. He married ELIZABETH ?? and had children Sarah, Mary, William (born Eaton Socon) and possibly James (born Eaton Socon). William jnr lived in Kimbolton all his life with wife Sarah NEWMAN. William Snr & Elizabeth and their two daughters went to live on Isle of Man, but he only ever says that they were born in England on the census... Any ideas how I can trace him?

red mail Porter Family in Riseley (Mar 09 Red) Riseley
I'm looking for any information relating to my PORTER family, residing in Risely from about 1775 onwards. I have some information about William Porter (I believe his parents where John and Elizabeth - nee Crick) who married Mary Mitchell in 1811. William & Mary had 10 children, but I have had very little success in finding any information about them - the majority of the children do not appear on any Census. The exeptions are Barzilia, who married Sophia Flavell in 1843 and I think they emigrated to Australia, and William who married Catherine Walker in 1853 who went on to have 9 Children. I would love to hear from anyone who has any links to this family.

red mail Hatherall (Aug 08 Red) London End

red mail Warwick (Apr 08 Red) Riseley

red mail Dunham, Arthur Walter (Mar 08 Red) Stonely
Anyone with information on the Dunhams from Stonely. Particularly information on siblings of my grandfather, Arthur Walter Dunham born in Mareylebone, and married Petra Marie Petersen (her family from Denmark remain a mystery). My Grandparents moved to Australia with their 4 children around 1923 - 1925 leaving behind a brother, John Dunham, and sisters, Mary, Bertha and Agnes Dunham. I don't think the sisters married but know that the brother John did and maybe had at least one daughter.

red mail Goss of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire (Revised Aug 09 Red) Riseley
Thomas Goss married Ann Sibthorpe (aka Thipthap) at Little Woolstone, Buckinghamshire in 1711. They moved to Riseley in the 1720s where they ran a dairy farm. The family stayed in Riseley until 1852 when Lucy Goss gave birth to an illegitimate son William Goss which resulted in mother, baby and grandparents moving to Biggleswade. William Goss' father is not given on his birth certificate.

green mail Valentine/Smith (Apr 07 Green) Riseley
Has anyone any connections with John and Leah (nee Smith) Valentine? John was born according to the 1851 census at Riseley and became a Brickmaker.

red mail BASS Family (Mar 07 Red) Kimbolton
I am looking for any information on my Mother's BASS family who lived on Thrapston Road, Kimbolton. Their home was a very small cottage at the side of the Chapel Manse. Also, any information on the CROSS family of nearby Spaldwick; Mary Cross was my Grandmother.

red mail Searching for Silbys (Nov 06 Red) Kimbolton
We are researching my husband's family who were living near Kimbolton in the 1770s. The family had two sons christened at Upper Dean In 1775 and 1777. We are unable to find the christening of their son Edward Silby. The family moved to Easton Maudit Northamptonshire about 1780 and the father of John and Neal who were christened at Upper Dean died and was buried at EM in 1801. his name was Samuel Silby. His wife was called Elizabeth.
