In 1881 Isaac Bentley, a traveller, came to Norton and encamped on Pelsall Common with the ready-made children of his wife Elizabeth, who were William, Charles, Sarah ( my 2x gt grandmother)Abraham, and Isaiah Whitehouse and then had a daughter Ann Jane Bentley. the brothers were mainly coal miners. I am trying to trace descendants of the brothers via Norton and Pelsall. Isaiah is thought to have been a lay preacher. Anyone have any information?

I am looking for decendents of William Henry Lloyd born 28/8/1840 in Pelsall who married Eliza Starkey born 1842 in Pelsall, on the 1st August, 1870 at Pelsall. William's parents were John & Maria Lloyd. I do not know the names of Eliza's parents. William is the brother of my husband's Great, Great Grandfather Benjamin Lloyd. On the 1881 Census, William & Eliza are living at Pelsall Common. William is a moulder. Their children listed are: Alfred aged 17 - Engine Driver. Thomas aged 15 - Engine Driver. Ada aged 11 - Scholar. Ann aged 8 - Scholar. Peter aged 5 - Scholar. Walter aged 2. Hope someone out there can help me to add to our Family Tree.
