I am researching the Stephen Smith family. He married Sarah (Tapley) not sure of the last name. Had at least two daughters, Elizabeth and the other,I believe the spelling is MERCEY, Merecy was a witness at her sister's wedding and it is not quite clear on teh marraige certificate.

I am trying to help an American friend check his Jury ancestors.He is descended from William and Elizabeth Jury.Just one of the seven children,George, migrated to America sometime in the 1840s.Other children who either died before marriage or married in England were Ellen,Naomi,Elizabeth,Hannah,William and Frances.All the Peasmarsh,Rye and Tonbridge were I suspect related.Any information will be most appreciated.

I am trying to gather info for my tree on my fathers mothers side of the family. She was Ada Annie Hoad from Peasmarsh,she was asthmatic all her life. She married an Alfred George Britt(1892) of Robertsbridge.They had two boys my father Roy and my Uncle Albert(he married a nurse and moved to South Africa).There was also a brother named Ron who lived in Chelsea and worked for the Peabody Trust.
