John Robinson 49th Regiment (Feb 09 Red)
I am looking for any details to with John Robinson who was married to Elizabeth Hand (living in Clewer New Town) in Windsor 1878. It is written on their marriage certificate that he was a Sargeant in the 49th Regiment and his father was John William Robinson occupation Farrier. Where it says age on the cert it just says Full for both of them so am finding it hard to trace back.

William Henry Lambell was bpt. 1783 at Old Windsor. He became a Royal Marine based at Chatham & then Woolwich 1808-1832. He married Elizabeth Kathrine Matthews 1810 at Gillingham, Kent. After leaving the Royal Marines William & his family moved to South Shields Co. Durham. Any connections & Info would be appreciated.
