I am looking for information on the family of a George Magee married to Ivy who used to live in chestnut ave,oakham about 1970's.They had at least 1 daughter Sylvia Mary who married Trevor Allen Nicholas about 1971/2. Sylvia gave birth to a son 27th April 1972 named Alan Michael Nicholas, would like to find out what happened to Alan Michael Nicholas, after his parents divorced, did his mother remarry? if so did he keep his name? any information regarding this family would be much appreciated.

Hi, I'm searching for information about William Peet. He's my Grt Grt Grandfather. I understand he was born around 1810 in Oakham, Rutland. He apparently married a Jane Myers c1812-c1883. I understand they married prior to 1837 and had a daughter, also called Jane born c1850, (My Grt Grandmother). Can anybody enlighten me.
