My great great grandfather was William Percival born in North Crawley around 1840. His son was Walter Eli Percival and was born in the same village in 1863. By 1868 the family had moved to the North London area and were employed in building the railways. If anyone has any information on the Percivals / Percifulls / Percifuls (the name gets spelled in many ways on the census etc) please get in touch. Martin

My grandmother Alice Louise Harris emigrated to America in early 1900s. She was born in Northampton 1884. Her father Thomas Eli Harris born in Cranfield, Beds near Marston Mortaine Md Sarah Ann Bignall of Moulsoe, Bucks. His Father George Harris born North Crawley, near Marston, 1805 Md Jemima Hern. Children Eliza, Emma, Jane, George, Elizabeth, Thomas, George, Mary, Samuel. His Father George Harris b abt 1776 Md Sarah Cooper in Marston Mortaine 1797 with children George, Samuel, Denis, Josiah, Emanuel, and William, Eliza, Elizabeth. George's father William md 1773 Ann Austin in North Crawley, children George, William, John, Thomas, Lydia, Mary. I'm looking to find where William's father John Harris Md Sarah (?)abt 1747 (Riseley or?)and was born abt 1724 and any other children(?). Can you help? I'm in England in East Yorkshire for a few more months.

Looking for any information concerning my ggfather Albert Watts, his parents George (b1827 Islington) and Eliza (nee Bullock)or his sisters Ellen (b1860) and Rosa (b1856). They had a house servant Ruth White who later married George Odell from Kempston. Eliza died in 1862 and George married Mary Taylor. Their children were George (1864) Walter (1865) and Eva (1867). After George died in 1867 Mary Watts married William Whitmee from Olney.
