They had 4 children Benjamin B1854, Hannah B1856, Frederic B1858 & Charles B1861. Paul jnr. went to India with army, married Hannah Ingram in 1865. They had 11 children born in India, Amy, Rosa, Alice, Helena, Henry, Jessie, Isabel, Catherine, Lila, & Minnie. Their youngest Frank was born 1893 - they came to Australia in 1891. Rosa & Henry stayed in England, the other girls all came to Queensland, Australia too. Prior to that though the family came back to Nottinghamshire in the 18880s when Paul retired from the army. Rosa married Richard Timson in 1891 & they had 5 children, Lila, Richard, Isabella, Mabel & Robert. Henry married Eva Woodford & they had 4 children Claude Leslie, Ella, Frank & Constance Beryl. green mail Newton family - school teachers (Apr 09 Green)
Hi - looking for info on family of school teachers in Newark. Parents Paul Newton & Martha nee Crump had from 9 to 12 children, mostly born at Newark between 1805 & 1821. I believe there to be an older child, Paul baptised at St. Martin's Leicester in 1803. He also is listed as a school teacher, but to confuse the issue also as an engineer. The other children include Ann 1815, John James 1812, Martha 1811, William 1811, Edward William 1808, Eliza 1806, Harriett 1805. If anybody else is following this family I'd be glad to hear from you. Regards - Val
