Her daughter Margaret SWALES married Thomas MOOD in Masham in 1884. They had five children before her death in 1891 - Ernest Walter MOOD, Katie MOOD, Herbert William MOOD, Ethel MOOD and Eva Annie MOOD.

I also am starting to research this family from the Masham parish. Have pulled a number of entries from the parish records. Particularly interested in George Wintersgill (Ilton) and wife Isabella Hutchinson and their 11 children. Their daughter Elizabeth married into my Ingleby family and came to Canada abt. 1834.

Jackson family
(Mar 05
Red)
I am trying to find information about my Grandfather Samuel Jackson. I understand that he was born in or around Masham about 1888, from 1832 until 1891 there are Jacksons living there one is listed as Post Master and a William Jackson was a Miller at the Mill in Masham, I don't know if any of these are related too my Grandtather, but it seems likely as a Samuel Jackson appears in the 1891 census. If anyone can help me I would be very garateful, thank you
