William Howard 1766 Marlow
(Dec 08
Red)
William Howard was supposed to have been born in Marlow about 1766. He emigrated to Pennsylvania about 1794 because of family differences. Was supposed to have had a brother Thomas and a sister who married a man called Williamson who owned a linen mill in Ireland. Was raised by an uncle as his father had died. Became a paper manufacturer. Married Elizabeth Jordan in Delaware in 1798. Anybody researching this family? Need to make a solid connection across the pond.

Croxon
(Nov 07
Red)
I have researched the Croxons and variant spellings who originated from the village of Great Marlow in the sixteenth century. They are to be found in later years in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Kent, Middlesex and Greater London. Any contact with other researchers of this name from these areas would be of interest to me.
