I;m seeking information on Ann Walford who gave birth to Gainsford Gibling Walford in June 1800. The baby was christened at Marks Tey and the records have him logged as 'bastard son'. Any information on the walford family living in Marks Tey or even Great Tey would be greatly appreciated.

William was with the Royal Sussex Regt. and gave his home address as Worthing. His father was Ernest HUTCHINSON, deceased, Soldier. The Rev. Richard Rande. Died 1691 Baddow, Essex. Married Anne. It's not a lot to go on. However, I see that he also had six children baptised at Mark's Tey, where he was apparently the incumbent minister, between 1655 - 1664. These were named Hannah, Mary, Nathaniel, Deborah, Elizabeth and Aquilla. I have knowledge currently only concerning the children of Nathaniel. I would welcome any opportunity to share and compare information concerning his ancestors, kinsfolk and descendants of the Rev Richard Rande.
