The Barker Family from Sandon, near Chelmsford. James and Susan married at Sandon. They were living at Long Melford when their four sons were born. James:bapt 25.1.1795 - George:bapt 9.7.1797 - Thomas:bapt 27.9.1801 - John:bapt 20.11.1803. The Family moved to Fowlmere, near Cambridge. Does anybody know anything about this family before they lived at Long Melford, please? Pauline.

I have ANNIE AMBROSE born 1895- father WILLIAM JAMES AMBROSE b. 1852 ( (I have a birth cert for a "William" born about 1826, no father, age ties in with 1901 census)who married SARAH ELIZABETH IVES in 24/12/1875( I have mar. cert - no ages given )SARAH is also b. about 1852 acc. to census . His mother is ELLEN AMBROSE (if correct birth cert.)- can't find her with a husband on census/BMD site. Ellen's father was probably JOHN AMBROSE b. about 1780 married to MARY (nee ?) - can't find their birth /marriage certs on Parish registers in Bury St Edmunds.
