red mail Plested (Long Crendon) Buckinghamshire (Apr 09 Red)
I am trying to find information about my Great Grandfather, John Henry Plested (born around 1871) and lived in Long Crendon (and any other relatives). He married Harriett Hanah (no surname) who lived in Whitstable in Kent and moved to Tatenhill nr Burton on Trent in Staffordshire. I have no other record other than the 1911 Census which shows that he was a Brewer Labourer and was 40 yrs old at this Census year. I really would like to find out about his parents but having checked through family records there is no further links. I would like to find out about his parents and siblings for my Dad. If anyone can help I would be most grateful. Kind regards.

red mail High Street, Long Crendon (Jan 06 Red)
Does anyone have or know where I can find: a photo of the line of 6 cottages that fronted at 14 High Street for hundreds of years and were demolished in the 1960s? They were opposite the pub just into the High Street on the right. My Gran used to live there but I only have a picture in my head! Heather.
