searching for connections to the lAPTHORNE/Yalland families.James Lapthorne was a tailor/shopkeeper in Loddiswell Devon until his immigration to Canada in 1920 He was married to Sarah Yalland who was born in Loddiswell in 1868.James Lapthorne was born in Kingsbridge Devon in 1864.He was apperently orphaned at age 2 when his parents died (by drowning) He was raised by a grandmother King and in an orphanage in Bristol run by Geirge Muller

Jane Damerell was baptised at Loddiswell 01 AUG 1731. Her parents were Michael Damerell (born Loddiswell 1696)and Elizabeth Jane who he married 23 DEC 1722. Looking for marriage of JANE DAMERELL & THOMAS BEER. They later lived at Woodleigh but cannot see marriage there. THIRD child baptised 1760 at Woodleigh but not first two, which are c.1756 & 1758. Marriage probably at Loddiswell but maybe East Allington, early 1750s. Any help appreciated.

I am looking for any one that may have some information on the Gardiner famliy, all I know about them is the father William was a carpenter ? as to when he was born, and who he married I don't know, but he had a Daughter called Louisa who became my grand mother when she married a Fred Jackman in 1913, she was the domestic servant to the Jackman household from Chaple Row In Gosport, she was aged 26 at the time so that means that she was born in 1887, if any one could help with any more information I would be very grateful.
