Joseph SHEARDOWNE (1949)of Little Carlton, Lincolnshire married Mary Ann CLARK (1848) of Grimbley, Lincolnshire. Their children were William Clark SHEARDOWN and Thomas John SHEARDOWN born in Lincoln. Those sons immigrated to Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada where William purchased a cheese factory in East Nissouri Township. William immigrated in 1887 and Thomas in 1900.
