I am looking for any information on Charles Pearson, born in Lightcliffe, Halifax in 1831. He was sent to Australia in 1851 aboard the Aboukir from London. His father is listed as Joseph Pearson (b c1808) and his mother Caroline. He had an uncle called John. He may have had two brothers called Frederick (b 1829) and George (b1838. Sydney ELLIS and Delia DEIGHTON (Sep 07 Green)
Sidney ELLIS is my ggg-grandfather. Born in Lightcliffe in about 1808, he married Delia Deighton in 1829 and their eldest son GEorge was born in 1829, moving to Salford. Sidney married MAry Graukroger in 1855, after Delia's death in 1853. I would love to make contact with any other descendants and anyone who can help me find other ancestors.
