red mail VINALL or WOODGATE from Lewes (Aug 10 Red)
I do hope someone out there can help me. I'm researching SARAH ANN WOODGATE, born in 1820, who may have been born SARAH ANN VINALL with a sister called PHEBE VINALL. Sarah Ann married GEORGE MOOREY in 1845, and Phebe married THOMAS MOOREY in 1844, but my interest lies in knowing more about Sarah Ann between 1820 and 1845. Was she a Vinall? who were her parents? who was Mr Woodgate?? Any information gratefully received ...

red mail Why Lewes in Sussex? (Nov 09 Red)
I am looking for information about the Reddick family in Lewes, Sussex around 1914. Elizabeth Mary Reddick (nee Voller) b1878 Westcott, Surrey was living in Lewes when she had her son, Frederick William Reddick b 1914. They were living at 13 Green Wall, Lewes. Elizabeth's husband Sidney/Sydney Reddick may or may not have been living with them. Elizabeth & Sidney married in the Epsom/Sutton area of Surrey and lived locally for some time. I do not know if they were staying in Lewes with relatives on the Voller or Reddick side of the family, or if they had settled here independently.
