I would be interested in any information re the Clements family of Langley Marish/George Green. My grandad was James Clements b. 27/10/1877. He was the son of John Clements b.1849 married to Harriet(Barnes). He was the son of James Clement b.1810 married Sara Masters. They were nursery men from George Green area.

I am trying to find information on Langley BLOOM house if any body is aware of its existance. My wife's ancestor worked as a nurse, Named Jane Goodacre
I have come accros several sites which list Langley BROOM House. I have found a listing of langley BLOOM house in the 1881 census owned by Mr Mann, b 1832 but am unable to find it shown on any maps or any other information.

William Collins Jackson

Researching William Collins Jackson died 1814, widow Jane, mother Eliza.
His only child, a son was transported to Australia & known as William Collins Burke Jackson.
The elder William owned property in Langley Marish and had waste lands awarded to him. His will was challenged on behalf of his grand daughter Mary Ann Collins Jackson in Australia through the High Court of Chancery in 1840. Can anyone help with furthur information?

I assume that Hexham is in the north-east ? My great great grandmother Mary Featherston was born in South Shields in 1832. Her father Thomas was born in Whickham, Durham in 1789. I`m also researching Redhead, Armstrong, Crooks and Byles.

I am seeking information about Henry Harland. The 1901 census records him living at Park Estate Villa, Springwater Field. Does this address exist today? Henry's occupation was a brick manufacturer; does anybody have information about where his business was, etc?
