green mail Hannah Jane Vasey (Storey) (Nov 09 Green)
I am requiring background information on my great grandmother Hannah Jane Vasey (born in 1862 - died in 1911). She was adopted by a family named 'Storey' around about 1870, after coming from Germany with her younger sister. Her younger sister (name unknown) was adopted by a family named 'Swan' and later married a man called 'Douglas'. Both girls arrived by ferry at South Shields. Their original surname was either Abershein or Avershein. Hannah Jane Storey later married a man called John Vasey on 25 May 1878. Thank you.

red mail SHARP (Sep 09 Red)
I have researched my family back to James Sharp, d.1721, married to Rosamond Bradley 8 June 1708. Rosamond died 1761. James & Rosamond were parents of George (1716 - 1769 or 1792) who married Hannah Alnwick. I lack details of James' birth. although I can find a Marye Sharp of Faw Side, Lanchester (buried 11 Nov 1673, daughter of John Sharp. Question is; are they part of my tree and if so, what/where are the links. All these persons are apparently associated with All Saints, Anglican, Lanchester. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

red mail Brown, Lanchester (Oct 07 Red)
I am trying to find out information on a Henry Brown born around 1760 who had a son called Hall Brown b 1778 Cornsay, Lanchester. He was a farmer and was married at St Andrew's Church, Auckland 21/11/1799 to Elizabeth Gardner b 1782 Brancepeth, Brandon. Henry was a witness at their wedding so I am assumming that this was Hall's father. Hall and Elizabeth Brown also had a son called Hall Brown who was born in Esh in 1805. Hall Brown jnr married Eleanor Burnett born in 1809 Northumberland. Any information would be welcome. Thanks
