He remarried in 1840 to Martha Large Herring who then had at least 4 further children. But who was his first wife, my great great grandmother?

I am looking for the Day family. My Great Grandfather was Thomas Day son of James Day and Grandson of William Day .They all came from Lambourn, but am unable to find out where they originated from. My Gt. Grandfather was born in 1840, and married Ann Moody who came from Ireland . The family moved to London where my Grandmother Alice Jane was born. Is there anyone out there that can help me?
