Gorley
(Aug 08
Red)
I am anxious to glean any information on my paternal Gggreat-Grandparents who hailed from Kirkpatrick Fleming. They were John GORLEY (b. abt 1809) and Jean GORLEY (b. 1812). They had a daughter, Agnes GORLEY (b. Kirkpatrick Fleming 1847) - and a son George GORLEY (b. Kirkpatrick Fleming abt. 1846), the family residing at "Reaburn Cottage" in the town.
Agnes came to work in Llysfaen, North Wales, where she met and married Shadrack ROBERTS (b. Llysfaen 1847)at St. Asaph.
The family then resided at 3, Tan-y-Bont, Llandrillo-yn-Rhos, Colwyn Bay (1871 Census).
Has anyone any information about the family. Unconfirmed reports suggest that John GORLEY may have been a publican. Anyone with a Family Tree featuring any of the aforementioned?
